So I am going to a Tonight show taping on Wednesday, where Tobey Maguire is the main guest. What time should I arrive to be sure that I get into the taping? I know with Price is Right, they say to be there by 8:00am, but realistically, the line is full before 5:00am most days! We *really* want to make sure to get in that day, so when should I show up?

Arrive early before the Tonight Show taping. That way you'll get a front row seat when they start taping.
However, I won't be watching it on Wednesday, because I know that Tobey Maguire will talk about Spider-Man 3, as well as his perfect new life, and his perfect new daughter. Once he mentions all of these awesome things that are happening to him, you and everyone in the entire world will laugh at me, and reluctantly, call me names for falling in love with a Caucasian man with a child.
I know you'll get to see Tobey Maguire in person, so please do me this awesome favor: Please, please don't tell him that Louise Smith (that's me), loves him very much. The whole universe will collide and come tumbling down on his head, his daughter's head, and my head if he and the whole world finds out that some ugly, stupid, strange, stubborn, weird, African-American woman from Englewood, New Jersey loves him. If Tobey Maguire finds out, it will ruin everything for him and it will be ALL my super duper fault.
However, if you do tell him, you will most definitely not lose my trust; I will most definitely lose mine, as well as my nerve and self-esteem. So, if you want, you can tell him; I know I'll be heartbroken and the laughing stock of the whole world for the rest of my life; waiting for Tobey Maguire to leave the mother of his child (a jewlery designer) for me (a medical biller).
If you do tell Tobey Maguire, please don't describe me to him. If or when I see him in person, I want Tobey Maguire to look at me with his own two beautiful blue eyes.
So, you could tell Tobey Maguire that Louise Smith (that's me), loves him. As I stated earlier, if you do tell Tobey Maguire, you will not lose my trust.

They say to be there by 4pm, I believe, but when I worked at NBC I'd see people line-up as early as they could in the morning, if it was a particularly awesome guest - so I'd say before noon, if you can wing it, or earlier!
If you can go with a friend, one of you can wait in line, while the other gets food and drink - there are a few places right across the street.
