What are the problems which occur in marriages where girls are elder to their husbands?

Serious answers only just list and identify the problems which a couple may have to face if wife is elder to husband. Is it true that most couples try tohide this fact.

women reach physical and mental maturity level before men.
if wife is more than 5 yrs elder than the husband this gap of physical and mental abilities is difficult to fill up.
as the age of say 40 man looks much younger than woman.
and most of the marital battles start in the bed.

The problems are huge and many.... Very often they do not want to face the reality in life.
1) The woman... gets matured and older than the guys...
2) The thinking thoughts and process will change... for both husband and wife.
3) Husband still looks good 10 years down the road.. wife looks like old granny....the ineterest level of sexual diminishes..
4) More young chicks available for husband... woman is over the hill cannot compete any more... left out in the rut.

Depends on how much older the woman is. I used to know a couple at my church where the wife was 80 and the husband was 58. The husband looked and acted a lot older than 58 and he died first. I think the wife bossed him around and manipulated him so much that it killed him. I guess people can't help who they fall in love with but I think in the long run the old woman with the young guy doesn't work out.

only due to age difference there is not at all any problem, who said that always man should be elder than woman for marriage???? one has to elder than other but why only man?? till husband and wife love each other, till they both understand each other, no problem at all. Probability of problems are as much same as the problems arise when man is elder, nothing special or extra problem.

Ladies elder to their husbands are more loving this is my not only my presumption but experience too, my mother was two years elder to my father & they made a truly loving couple till their death. Rest there is no harm as such till there exist a proper understanding between the two, age hardly matters, it their personal liking & dislikes that effect any matrimonial home.

I think the problems that might occur include the fact that the boy's family might object and always make negative comments about the girl. Lots of things might happen thereafter for eg, the boy avoids to let his family and his girl together in the same room, then the girl says he's ashamed of her, and there comes the stress in the relationship...there might be other problems

I don't think there could be any problem at any time in life if they love each other.
For example, a lady of 62 years and her husband of 58 years should have no problems getting along unless he became unduly romantic towards a female of 45 years.

If the age gap is more than five years, it looks visible more after 10 years as the muscles of ladies sag faster & so, they look much older than husband. As menopausal time is fixed(40 to 47 years), the period of fertility also gets smaller & woman's interest in sex also goes down earlier.

I think some women gives up on sex, when she are older then the man, It's called PMS. and that comes alone with being in a bad mood most of the time also,but even if you got a younger woman the same thing could happen with her....

I am two years older than my husband and we have never had any problems based on our age. There's nothing inherently wrong with wives being older than their husbands, and we have never tried to hide our age differences. I honestly have never heard of such a thing.
