Ok so i think i might be pregnant even though I am on birth control, now here's my question, if i am currently on birth control and I take a pregnancy test, will it affect the result? I am wondering before I do it.

Nope. Birth control does not contain the hormone that pregnancy tests look for in your urine. You need to take a test quickly, because if you are pregnant birth control pills can have bad effects on your baby, especially in the extremely early stages of development.

If you are pregnant it will say yes. The pills won't affect the result. ALTHOUGH you can get a false positive, or a false negative. If you took all the pills and didn't miss any, you SHOULD be safe. Sorry to tell you this, but I DID get pregnant on the pill. Love her with all my heart!
Good luck!

If the pregnancy test says your pregnant you are, the birth control wont affect it. there are no false positives only false negatives.

No, the pregnancy hormones will over ride the pill. However, if you think you might be pregnant you should get off the pill immediately. The contraceptive hormones can be harmful to a developing baby.

I am guessing yes, because you birth control tricks your body into thinking it is pregnant. Stop taking the pills and talk to you doctor.

if you think your pregnant you shouldn't be taking birth control pills, it can cause fetal harm, so yeah it will affect the result, OF YOUR BABY!!! see your doctor to get a 100% accurate results.
