Are you a stay-at-home mother? Last year I was pregnant with my third child and had 2 toddlers at home with me. They got used to me being on the couch a lot. LOL. I think children understand more than we think. I would just tell mine that I was sick or really tired and needed to rest. Sometimes I could tell they were getting impatient, but mostly they would just find things to do around me - sit on the couch near me and read books, watch a movie while I got a couple of winks, etc. My husband helped at night when he came home, too.

Totaly normal , the comment above me is exzactly the same as what i have been doing through this preg too , #4 35 weeks along, I feel like i have slept this pregnany away. My pull out couch has been pulled out about 90% of the time , laying down with my youngest while she watches movies and keeps herself occupied for a while so mommy can rest.
Good luck and get all the rest u can right now :)

It is normal to just want to sleep, but the problem is that you need supervision of your other children for these times when you just can't go. Call family and ask them to take your kids so that you can at least get naps. Also, you may want to talk to your doctor about this because you really do need to keep up your energy as much as possible for your other kids' sakes.

Get as much rest as you can while your other kids are at school/daycare etc. It is totally normal to feel exhausted at anytime during pregnancy...ESPECIALLY if you have two other children. Good luck.
