FYI--- My car is 1975 Chevrolet Caprice, so un-leaded gas is fine. Anybody have an argument for a particular brand of gas?

i own a shop and i use shell or bp in mine and have no problems really any gas that you find that runs good in it just go with that ,there really isn't any one brand that's the best for these old cars,i usually use what ever seems to run the best and right now whats the cheapest to buy.just stay with a major brand company and it should run fine on it,good luck hope this helps.

If your classic is older than 1973 then you better either get the valve seats replaced or find some lead additive or you stand a good chance of burning out the valves.
A friend used to use Sunoco 260, but I don't think you can even buy that any more. Good luck

If it's a pre-unleaded engine in the car then make sure you use a lead substitute. Otherwise the fuel we have today can eat away at the valve seats.
If you engine is not a High Compression version then regular will work just fine.
