Some friends of mine are giving a lingerie shower. We are a group of Christians. I want to give her a unique gift. Maybe some type of sex book. But would like to find a Christian based one that focuses on God's intentions for husbands and wives.

I don't know specifically of a Christian based book, but you could give her "Sex for Dummys". It is actually a really good book. It is very descriptive and not vulgar. It would also imply at the shower that they are both still virgins (it doesn't matter if there not - the book is still good). Or you could get one of the Karma Sutra books. They are mostly about positions but the pictures are very explicit so if older church women are going to be there then I would pass on it.

Your best bet for finding one is to just visit your local bookstore. They have a whole section so I am sure that there must be a Christian one. I wouldn't try and internet site because you wont be able to flip through it and see if it is really what you are looking for.

Good Luck - I hope you find what you are looking for!

I have just borrowed a book from a family member and I would have to say it was a real eye opener. It is called
EXPERIENCING FATHER'S EMBRACE
IT IS BY JACK FROST.
I would recommend this highly it isa for the newly married and the long time things husbands and wives go through and work through your friend will love it.
Experienced husband married almost 8yrs.
It's not really a sex book it is a account the authors life and the trials good and bad he has gone through. It gives the reader an incite into keeping the marriage strong, good for both the husband and the wife.
God Bless and Best Wishes.

The Bible gives some explanation on the roles of a wife. I think you probably need to find a good book on improving yourself as a person rather than just focusing on the wife part. If you improve you and see yourself differently, it should carry over. There are lots of self-help books out there. Dr. Phil has some good ones.
