Yea, stuff like that kinda puts things into perspective.

just shows how the media will report on anything and everything when nothing else is going on...i mean why else was anna nicole in the news so much...no one really cares, we just pretend we do. how many of us really listened to don imus...i didnt. still dont care what happened, never would have know about it unless the news blew it out of proportion. it happens to every lead story in america and sadly today people died and the story led and will for a long time. its the way the media is.

I watched info on it today. Oprah and CNN. Also still is on the front page of my MSN News.
But with what happened in VA Tech I can see why. It was the largest shooting in history.
Imus is just a ignorant jerk. But we may get some good out of it to. I am more aware of how I say things. And i had a talk with my son about rap and racial slurs.

It was on the VIEW.....all they talked about.....it was on CNN......MSNBC.......I wish they would give up the ghost so to speak. YES, what he said was not right......but I have heard other "famous" people say things that are much, much worse than what he said, who have NOT been "fired" for their "words"......the tragedy that took place in Virginia today should be more important than anything that Mr Imus said.
My heart goes out to the families of these people.....can you imagine.......thoughts and prayers and GOD BLESS

Thank God!
Why do the news shows think we want to see only one story beat to death over and over and over.
Surely there's other stuff going on in the world.

Yes, and it's about time. That's minor when you think about all the people who died at Virginia Tech.

I think that was yesterday... but that might be because there are more "concerning" issues today?
