I do not think it is any proof, young lady. Epistemological and logical proofs are not empirical; so, do not hold water.

No... because he argues that God is the First Cause. He says that an event is caused by something else, and God exists b/c infinite regress isn't possible, so God is the "unmoved mover"... but there is also a famous argument against Aquinas' Five Ways... Imagine that the world sat on an elephant's back. What is the elephant sitting on? A turtle. What is the turtle sitting on? Etc, etc... And the argument is, if God can exist on its own, why can't the world? Why isn't the world the First Cause?

I'm not sure anyone has proven God's existence and lived to tell. The dead arn't talking and when they do, there's no scientific reproducable proof that I'm aware of that would convenience anyone else.

Somethings you just know, others you believe. Sometimes the two come together. St. Aquinas did us all a favor with his writings, but in the end I would recommend that you pray and listen to your heart.

I believe

No. No one person can prove that God exists otherwise everyone would believe. Thats why we have faith. You can't look at "proof" from someone as imperfect as man is to find that kind of thing out, you have to trust in faith.

I believe in God and know that he lives. I know not because of what I've read, or what I've been taught no matter how good they may be. I know because I have felt it in my heart. When I pray with faith, I know that He is there. With that knowledge, I can look at and read the things that I do and as believe them according to the feelings I get in my heart.

Your own heart and the feelings you feel can tell you if something is true or real so much better than trusting a person's words blindly.

it depends. if you're looking at it from a christian perspective, they're self-evident, but not necessarily from another perspective. it's not like there's a silver-bullet "oh, i see, god MUST exist!" answer to the question. but aquinas is very logical, and his arguments are affirming to christians. they're about as much proof as you will get, but again, there's really no undisputable proof concerning god's existence.

Thomas Aquinas is a perfect example of someone who thought he was a lot smarter than he actually was. None of his "proofs" are proof at all..

No one can prove God exists because there is nothing on earth to explain the inexplicable. Our human brains lack the infinite wisdom required to even begin to understand God's existence. That is why he has not yet revealed himself to us .We have to be in a sinless state to see God .If you have faith which is a gift from God you don't have to prove anything. It is a feeling in your heart that puts you at ease with yourself and God on a higher level that you could ever imagine. If you don't have faith you are void and empty and try to prove that God does not exist.

I dont think god proves things in concrete ways such as science trys to. God is more about faith than proof.... if you have faith in God, you will find evidence that he/she exists in every living thing.
