I do several times a week. I guess you could ask how we can all spend time on Yahoo answers when some of that time could be spent in the word.

I do as often as I can not as much as I should though but I'm lucky I have a wonderful church that teaches the truth and tells what the Bible says the whole Bible not just part of it and also I have a mother in law that just about has the Bible memorised you can ask her any question and she will tell you where to find it in the Bible sometimes she might take a little while to find it but she alwayss does me and my husband don't alway make the right decision because we are human but I tell you if you go by the Bible it would we the right decision but our worldly flesh sometimes gets the better of us.

Oh yes! That is a habit God caused me to develope YEARS ago! I read it every day, first thing in the morning. I usually read at least three chapters of the Old Testament, two chapters of the New Testament, and whatever chapter of Proverbs corresponds with that day's date (ie, on the FIRST day of the month, I read Proverbs 1, the SECOND day, Proverbs 2, etc.). In the past, I've actually read the entire Bible through 6 times a year (once a month for the New Testament and once every other month for the Old Testament. In my 28 years as a Christian (someone SAVED BY JESUS CHRIST!), I've read the entire Bible at least 50 times. But I have learned as a believer in Christ that it's not enough to simply READ it; James instructs us to "be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." (James 1:22) I know that's "easier said than done", but God gives His Holy Spirit to those He saves, and through Him we have the power to obey what we read! And I thank God every day for the fact that I have a Bible, and that I can understand what it says because of JESUS!

The Blessing of MY Bible

Jesus loves me, this I know,
For the Bible tells me so.
I'm glad the Bible is God's word,
And that it's message I have heard.
For had that never been the case,
I'd not have known God's saving grace,
How Jesus died at Calvary,
To save a guilty wretch like me.
What wonderous love! this gospel story,
'Tis nothing less than God's own glory!
The knowledge of my Jesus, Lord,
All this world's books can't afford.
How thankful then, my God, am I,
To have Thy word; Thou canst NOT lie!

I read it every once in awhile.
My favorite scripture is Psalm 18:46-48. I opened it (unknowingly) to that book shortly after my divorce from my abusive ex-husband. That was pretty amazing to me.

Yes. But I must admit that I need to blow the dust off of it and start repairing the relationship.
