Depends what you mean by 'left you in the dark... alone' .
If you mean like LITERALLY left in the dark, yes my sister did and I'm very muchly afriad of the dark, always have been and I'm around 15. I screamed my lungs out until she opened the locked door, I was crying too.
If you mean like more in the mind, leaving in the dark like not telling me something that I should know about, yes that's happend too, it kinda sucks either way for me.

yeah when i was a lil kid and i would always think they'd come back and turn the lights on but they didn't so i had to find my way to the dark and turn on the lights myself

idk if this is a litteral of figurative Q you're trying to ask here. my once upon a time best friend up and moved one day and never spoke to me again, not once in 10 years. we were like sisters, she even lived with me for 6 months.
