I am not sure, but I think I pulled my calf muscle. It hurts really bad when I straighten my foot or walk in general, I thought walking down the steps would help stretch it out, but when I did I felt something snap. The muscle is now so tight and hurts just sitting here. Is there any thing I can do to relax the muscle and get rid of the pain without going to the doctor?

best thing to do is put heat on for 20min then ice on for 20min* it will take down the inflamation in the muscle....and it will take time to heal. If your leg begins to swell quite a bit..definately go to the doctors.......IF not..then continue with the 2omin on and 20min off.......take some tyl. regular strength if you need to for the pain* GOODLUCK*

I've done that plenty of times what you do is wrap it up and keep ice on it.
