They say love has no fear..but I am dubious....nice question..

Well, when you love someone, there´ll always be that little bit of fear you have at the start about feeling so vulnerable towards them however, after you do get passed that feeling and you love them wholey and you trust them completely there would be no more need for the fear bcuz you know that, they would never hurt you and so the fear is simply replaced by indescribable happiness. :)

No. The song is disagreeing that idea-- the abusive nun at a vicious school said it and he knew it was wrong and avoided the place. The rest of the lyrics are about doing anything for love.
