Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are racists and any thinking black person would reject them. They are dangerous. The Reverend Martin Luther King would be appalled.

Well said. I think he along with the other race baiting opportunist Jesse Jackson, only talk about racial equality and unity when it is expedient for them. I mean look at what Sharpton did in 1987 with the race baiting rape hoax of Twanna Brawley where he destroyed the career and life of a former New York D.A., his Fashion Mart "white interloper" comment when a jewish jeweler's store was burnt to the ground and Sharpton was caught on tape yelling "white interloper and then lied and said he did not say that until he was confronted with the videotaped evidence which showed him for the liar he was and is,
Then along came the same race baiting hoax of the Duke Lacrosse scandal. I have never once heard him or Jackson speak out against the "New" Black Panther Party after they went into court and threatened one of the boy's life, saying " you are a dead man walking" or when they said even if they were innocent, they should go to jail for all the white men who got away with raping black women.
You see they won't disavow that kind of talk or apologize for the elevated racial tensions they made even worse with their appearances in Durham because they are a bunch of opportunistic hypocrites and need that kind of swill around to keep themselves relevant in the black community.
They have not, since these boys have been exonerated, come out and said they apologized and that they should have taken a step back instead of jumping in in the rush to "accuse".
These two hypocrites opened their traps and used the following words and phrases in the past such as " cracker, honky, hymie, new york is "hymie town" etc. I actually heard someone make the pathetic excuse on CBS Weekend on Saturday that "oh they have made great contributions to the civil rights community and the hymie town and hymie comments show that they are human" HUH!?! WTF!?! So if that makes them human, why wasn't the same yard stick used for Imus. I guess he is not human. Imus was an equal opportunity insulter, no one escaped his acid tongue but he has done more and has more class in his baby finger than Sharpton has in his entire body.

He's a race hustler who has made a very good living for many years. Look at Morris Dees, a KKK lawyer... turned "civil rights hustler." He has made many millions of dollars in donations over the years. He also has a very shady past. At least Sharpton hasn't changed his position, and actually doens't have the terrible criminal past that Dees has.

He is definitely an opportunist. The Imus thing seems to be biting him in the butt however. He's now having to speak out against rap music that uses derrogatory language toward women and bad language. You are right though, he's always waiting to blame whitey, along with his friend Jesse. Isn't he supposed to be a minister...and wait...don't they preach forgiveness? Hmmmm.....

Al Sharpton only stands up for himself, and what is best for him. He hides behind civil liberties as a way of justifying his cause.

Yep, he's a racist. But because he is black he can get away with it. It's a sad truth. And what is worse his followers are totally ignorant to that fact. Maybe someday the ignorant will wake up to his cleverly disguised hatred, but I doubt it. They like keeping the stupid masses stupid. They are easier to control that way.

he's between the penultimate racists. for instance, blaming the Duke scholars immediately even notwithstanding he had no info. They were white, they were to blame...except that the female replaced right into a skanky mendacity ho. he's a fraud which will champion black agendas to line his pocket.

I totally agree with you. I think that him and Jesse Jackson are doing blacks more harm than good and are causing more race relation problems every time they open their mouths.
