yes, but it takes a lot of time depending on how deep your feelings were. you may always have a soft spot in your heart for that person forever.

I guess it does but it will always leave something a scar...trauma I mean. Maybe you will heal in time but don't you notice, once you get seriously broken hearted, you come out of it as a different person. You are not the same guy or girl who's too nice or naive. You become a smart *** and too cautious and it will always be hard to trust again. That explains the scar left behind from a heart that was broken. Some say once it's broken, it will always be broken, and repairing it takes a lot of good people to show you not everyone one is as bad as you think to make it whole again. And you were just really with the wrong person.

Yes, but the process is different for each person. Some people need a lot of time and understanding for their heart to heal while other people don't. But the person's heart would never be the same after the heartbreak.

Yes, almost every one gets their heart broken at some time, but it mends with time.

Figuratively broken hearts mend. But if you actually break a heart in half, then it doesn't mend.

That is up to every individual person if it eventually mends or not. We are responsible for how long our pain lasts. It is up to us how long we want to be a victim or how long before we move on and start afresh. We control our happiness and our sadness.

Yes, it does. You may still remember the days of your broken heart, but it wont hurt as much anymore.

Mine did after the death of m partner. Her family treated her vilely and left me with bitter hatred and despair. I healed with help and learned to forgive.
I owe people on answers a big debt as well for their kind assistance.

Yes, but it does leave a scar behind so you'll never forget... Don't worry though, scars make you stronger and all the wiser ( ;
