i know they are having problems right now, but will investing 5000 dollars be a risk worth taking? Will the stock price jump if they solve their legal situation?

If you buy puts, maybe. But as others have stated, this stock is headed down with NO signs of any turnaround.

If you've got $5000 to spend, put it in POT or X or PCP at least those'll make you some $$$.

Hope that helps!

They were a bad deal before, a worse deal now.

This is not a scenario where a good stock has been unduly hammered by temporary bad news.

This is a scenario where a company with no profits had its stock puffed up to the heights, and then finally after repeated bad news people finally noticed that their net earnings were negative. To name a few negatives:

Over the last 12 months it cost them $840Million to provide services that they could only sell for $607M.

They have no competitive advantage other than name recognition.

They spent most of the money from their IPO on marketing.

They are currently looking for a new CEO.

And of course their current chairman of the board previously paid $22.5Million for illegal trading while he was at Datek.

This is not a compelling case for a buy.

complicated to assert, there are certainly one of those super style of alternative VOIP (Voice over IP) companies that are extra progressed than Vonage. ie. Sunrocket, Skype, and so on. I have been given out of the industry earlier because of the fact there are different investments that pay plenty larger returns than the industry ever has, and so as that they've not have been given any threat.

Better to find a winner to ride than to bet your money on a loser. Works with horses, too.
