Should either view be the basis of law? Why?

Both. I am pro choice because I don't feel that is my or anyone else's place to tell a woman when and how she should become a mother. I am anti abortion because I despise abortion and I wish no woman ever had to make that choice. But I feel that it is a necessary evil. I just wish that more women would be more proactive and prevent unwanted pregnancies whenever possible.

BOTH! Pro-choice because I think everyone had free agency and should be able to choose what they please even if I think it is wrong, and that I have no right to take something that has already been created away from this world.
Then Anti because I do feel it is wrong VERY wrong, I wish it was never created! Maybe then people would take having sex more seriously? I had an abortion when I was 13, the worst thing I ever did, it still bothers me today. I can never take it back....Luckily I believe in Jesus Christ and through him I can be forgiven, and that maybe one day I will be able to see my baby that I chose to destroy. When I look at my daughter I could never imagine doing that to her....

I am pro-choice, but my personal choice would be never to abort a baby living inside me.

I think anti-abortion laws are an attempt to regulate so-called "sinful" behaviors. I believe that people will always find ways to sin, and people cannot regulate or control everyone's sins all the time. I think people should allow God to judge the sins of people; it is not people's business to judge what is a sin, what is not in others -- it is a personal choice people need to make for themselves. When they die, they can face the creator themselves and see what happens.

I am both, pro-choice, and anti-abortion. I think that there has to be a better way to cut back on the number of abortions. Putting tham against the law didn't work.

I'm Pro-Choice because i beleive that a woman has the right to choose because only she knows and understands her circomstance...i think that even if you are pro-choice or pro-life the laws should protect the pro-choice views for the simple fact that being pro-choice doesnt mean necessarily that you are pro-abortion...it means the right to have contraceptions and women's rights and so on...and it can also mean you being for abortions...either way that's my opinion.

your'e just looking for a fight, huh? I am Pro life for the most part, except blah blah blah. I am sure you have heard all the reasons.

Parfait, what about the last word concerning that babie's body. See how these people are, they have no consideration for the other person involved, just their own bodies. It is not your body alone, but another life, and you should think long and hard before snuffing it out.

anti. unless the child was conceived from rape or unwanted sexual intercourse. that means the girl knew what she was doing b4 she went and spread her wings to fly(if u know what i mean). one should not kill an innocent life just becuase of their mistakes. there are many couples in the world wishing they had a child of their own and someone wants to resort to killing what they dream of. i don't think it's right. im not so sure about basis of the law. well maybe. in one way i am pro b/c it is none of anyone else's business. but i still stink abortion is wrong. unless they are extremely heartless, a person who resorts to abortion will live with the guilt of killing an innocent soul for the rest of their life

I am pro life all the way...and this is the reason why...

1. it is not our body anymore once a child has been conceived...we are simply housing this lil baby.
2. you pro choicers go look on the net and see what an aborted baby has to go through during the abortion. Those who say that the baby cant feel being aborted are ill educated on this matter. Nerves are one of the very first things to start. Not to mention a beating heart.
3. you mention that the baby is not fully developed yet so you have a right to stop the baby from growing....would you kill a child or infant that is still developing outside of the womb? This child is still developing...
4. this pertains to partial birth abortions...we incubate a baby that is born prematurly to save the lil ones life, yet a baby at that same stage of development can also be aborted, where does the value of life start?
5. would you like to be ripped apart limb from limb or be burnt to death with saline solution? How would it feel to you?
6. something that is growing is alive...
7. ah but you argue the fact that our nails and hair are dead yet still grow..well my answer to that is that it is the folicle that makes our nails and hair grow and the folicle is alive....
8.too many women in this world are selfish when it comes to their bodies and what their bodies look like...oh no I am pregnant I am going to get fat..what kind of stupid excuse is that...there are cures for fatness but no cures for murder..
9. do not be a fool and say that abortion is not murder..it is...you are stopping a beating heart and stopping something from growing..if it is not murder then pray tell what do you call it?
10. abortion is just sheer laziness on a womans part...and more than not, women who have had an abortion regret it later on in life.
11. You see a newborn and coo over the baby, yet you look at a baby inside the womb and do not value it? Why? A baby is a baby inside and outside of the womb.
12. There are countless mishaps with abortion. There have been many partial birth abortions that have gone terriably wrong and the baby was still alive once the baby came out and was left to die on a table...
13. Would you want something jabbed in the nape of your neck, something sucking your brain out...
14. I want all of you pro choice believers to look on the net about abortion and wittness for yourself what these babies are put through...I want you to see this murder...
and if you already have seen pics and video of abortions and still feel it is a womans choice, then you are heartless and you have not any sympathy.
15. This is not a religious issue with me...but it is a value of life with me...
16. It sickens me to no end to see women getting abortions and it sickens me that people are pro choice...
17. There are other ways around this issue..yes, I am speaking of adopting a baby out.... this is the most loving and selfless thing a woman could do for another human being....yep I said it..HUMAN BEING...
18. An unborn child is a human...look at the dna people...what else could the child be..a monkey, a fish..etc etc
19. Put yourself in the soon to be unborn child's place....think about it for a sec..get your mind away from the thought that it is your body....and think about someone else...think about the 4,000 plus babies aborted each and everyday..the babies thrown away to the garbage...placed in garbage bags and put out to the street to be put in a dump somewhere....is this right...to throw away a baby....
20. There is a reason why they call it the silent scream...dr's and those involved with abortion do not want to hear a baby being tormented..that is why the murder takes place inside of the woman...so that the babies screams can't be heard....and for those who say that the babies being aborted that have no lungs developed and thus can not scream..you are wrong...dead wrong...they can't produce sound yet..but they most certainly can feel it.....watch their body movement during the process of an abortion....they are scared and they move around rapidly in pain....

I wish just once that those who consider aborting their child or those who have had it done..can feel the abortion themselves...
A baby is a baby and a human from the time the sperm fertilizes the egg....no excuses!
If a woman is raped and becomes pregnant..why should the baby pay for the crime of the rapist....
If a woman is having complications during a pregnancy and thus the only alternative is to terminate..no! Your time is up....it is time to give another person a chance to live...that baby...there are so many meds out there and procedures now days that can save both mother and child...

Now unto the law question....roe v wade should be over turned somehow...this was back in the day where hippies and feminist were at an all time high and when new meds and procedures had not been discovered yet...

You girls need to protect yourselves from becoming pregnant if you are sexually active...this is neglegence on your part and selfish...if you do not want to have a baby now....protect yourself...do not use abortion as birth control....think about it this way... the pill, patch, shot, condom...or murder....hmm
please I beg all of you to view this differently...
GO TO YOUTUBE AND VIEW THE SILENT SCREAM VIDEOS AND VIEW THE SCIENTIFIC PROOF THAT A "FETUS" IS A HUMAN BEING....

Pro-choice, because as a woman I want to have the last word regarding my body.
