my cellphone keeps getting screwed up, so is my sat phone when I use it in another country. Communications keep getting screwed up.

They are active for about a year out every eleven, not during seasons. There is no solar activity right now. I'm including a link to a map of aurora activity, which is linked to solar activity. There's basically none.

The sun has an 11-year cycle of activity, and right now we are at a minimum. That doesn't mean that there couldn't be some solar flares causing problems, but nothing significant enough that the news or scientists are reporting problems.

No we're at a solar activity minimum. Last week there wasn't one sunspot on the sun. Flares are at minimum and wouldn't affect a cell phone even if they were very active. Call your carrier.

Nope. But if it were the year 2012 when the sun is at full blaze again...maybe.

Most likely has something to do with the weather...you live on the east coast?
