Is that still cool? 'Cause I found a tie at some weird store, it's turquise and black checkered, and I have some arm warmers that are turquise too. I have a black ringer shirt that says "Believer" on it, and some black high tops. I was thinking I could wear all that with just some jeans or something, does that sound retarted? ( I came back from Canada (oday, and I've been gone for a year and I don't know what to wear to school. I'm in Michigan right now, and I don't know if the styles are different or what. I was in the Yukon.)

I think its cool. I am a girl and I like to wear ties for a rock and roll feel.

Well Avril Lavigne tried to bring ties back and was unsuccessful. She dropped it. I don't much care for it but I am pretty trendy, professional and you sound like you are a little more progressive in your dress. It sounds like a lot going on in that outfit too. What about your believer shirt with a skinny jean and a funky jacket over it? With a flat? Maybe a cool hat too? But if you are going to wear arm warmers I wouldn't care about the tie looking weird. An honest answer.

dnt wrry about the trends and wondering whutz in style set ur own trends and wear what u like and as long as ur comfortable in it nothing should matter...........and canada is not THAT diff 4rm the u.s but if ur still having doubts watch ur friends, and keep up with the latest styles in the stores wear u shop, and look at others ppls styles and make them ur own!.....hope that helps
p.s dnt u think the blck high tops are a lil 2 much u could jus go with sum basic sneakers or sum vans or sumthin!

that sounds cool, really cute!!! i just came back from brazil, & all the girls would wear stuff like that when out clubbing at the rock places...i think it sounds great personally!!! i have tons of those arm warmers, i luv them & buy them all the time, i must have 20 pair!!! lol & i have some that i made myself, by cutting off socks & tights...

Yeah, I have to at school. And on various other occasions I've worn a skull tie (St. Trinians themed party xD).

the only time I would wear a tie is if it was with a black pants suitsuit with black blouse and black tie, mafia-ish looking.
