I cant see that happening because Detroit will definitely attempt to keep him. They dont have any serious cap problems, and Chauncey wants to stay so don't expect a change of scenery here.
Also, the Lakers do need better more experienced perimeter players to compliment Kobe & Lamar, but the Triangle Offense for all of its effieciency doesn't attract big name free agents to it due to the difficulty in learning the offense.
The Bulls had the same problems, but worked it out with hanging in with the pieces they had in place and having them learn the offense. Occassionally they would add a free agent like Cliff Levingston or Dennis Rodman, but for the most part they kept the guys they drafted and went with them.
The Lakers issues are health and the front office. If they can go through the next season with no major injuries, and get the courage to release Kupchak, you'll see better results.

The Lakers would try to sign him but I don't think they would suceed. The Lakers don't really need a PG though because the triangular offense doesn't really require one. Billups would probably end up in Denver since he grew up there or maybe go to Memphis. Imagine Oden, Gasol and Billups on the same team. He could also stay in Detroit.

They can't afford him. Kobe's contract is too big to afford a player of the caliber of Chauncey Billups and stay under the salary cap. Plus, Chauncey (or any other player of his status) wouldn't want to come to a .500 team after playing on a winner.

I doubt it because he's playing some good ball with the Pistons so he should stay with them.
