Quartz tube cutting?

I have a quartz krypton arc lamp that I need to cut for some plasma experimentation and I was wondering how I could go about taking off an end. It's .158 in diameter.

If you can find a diamond-edged saw blade use that. Otherwise you can get a fine-grit abrasive-edged hacksaw blade if you visit the right hardware store. Use a low downforce when cutting.
