No he defiantly doesnt fit into a west coast offense and I think they have enough QBs already at 6 (if you count jake plummer).

Anytime you have a chance to get the 5th best rated QB in the draft in the 3rd round, you do it. Even though the Bucs don't necessarily need another QB, they should still give him a look even if its just to showcase him for a possible trade. If he then surprises people with an outstanding training camp, you have that much more depth and it increases his worth in a trade. I think they'd draft him in a heartbeat!

ohhh good question... with Gruden at the helm I think there might be a huge argument between Gruden and the owner if this happened. Gruden doesnt like young QB's and Im sure there will be other potential playmakers on offense and defense on the board still in the third round... so probably no.

it wouldnt be a bad idea. they could use a young quarterback. i know bruce gradkowski is young but i dont think he is the right guy. jeff garcia is the guy for this season, but next season(or possibly this season) he will have a downfall. but i think troy smith will overcome all the rumors about him and actually become something in this league. i know the bucs have a lot of qbs but plummer packed his bags, rattay is gone, and i have a feeling mccown will be gone at june 1st cuts.

Sure, Gruden likes to have plenty of QB's, even if they suck.
