On a number line graph the domain of the function v defined by

v(x)=SQR(5x+40)

Can someone help me out by explaining where the end points should go? I'm given a graph in my book with points between -11 and 11 so I know it has to fall in there somewhere...

Thanks!

V(x) = SQR (5x + 40)

endpoints are when v(x) = 0

sqr (5x + 40) = 0
5x + 40 = 0
5x = -40
x = - 8
