Then go the library and read about Truman. There are biographies of Harry Truman that are more than available, and there are collections of his Presidential papers that have been published for the public to read whenever they wish.
I don't help people to cheat themselves by doing their homework for them. And if you were to actually do your own homework, you might surprise yourself and learn a thing or two.

When faced with the casualty numbers predicted by the Pentagon and his advisors if the Allies invaded Japan (military - both Ally and Japanese, plus civilians) versus the number of civilian casualties caused by dropping the bomb, Truman made the toughest decision of his life. If you can get a copy of Merle Miller's biography of Truman, "Plain Speaking", I believe there is a discussion of how Truman came to the decision.

Come on... get serious.
There was an element of revenge involved. Revenge for Pearl Harbor, for the horror treatment of GI prisoners of war, for the Rakuyo Maru incident (check it out).
Truman could have just as easily advised Japan that unless they immediately surrendered he would use an extraodinary weapon an droped the bomb on a deserted island... but to drop it on Hiroshima and the Nagasaki... not very christian of Harry S.

The imminent entry of the Soviet Union into the war in the Pacific.
The date for this had been agreed at the Yalta conference by FDR and Stalin.
Truman wanted to finish the war quickly before Stalin could make any territorial gains in the Pacific.
He also wanted to demonstrate the power of the new bomb to Stalin to make sure he kept to the agreed boundaries of influence in Europe
