No, you should read the test no more than 10 minutes after taking it. You need to retest, that was probably a defective test. Good luck!

NO! Do not read the test a few hours after. They have to be read after about 3-5 minutes. A test that cannot be read this soon after being taken should be considered defective. Take another test! You have to make sure enough urine gets on the dipstick, or otherwise, the test won't work. Some people prefer using a cup to void into, and than dipping the test. If you're really concerned, visit your doctor.

No. Most tests say only wait a max of 5-10 minutes and anything after that isn't an accurate result. You could always re-test in a few days.

Personally, i wouldn't. Usually you can read a test before the box claims you can. In a few hours the urine is probably dried up, certainly chemically changed. Besides, with a pregnancy test, if there is *any* room for mistake or question, it's best to take another to be SURE. That way you can sleep at night!

No. If you read the test information, it will state a specific time after which to disregard results. Something like, "read test results as soon as 1 minute, but no later than 30 minutes." False positives can show after that time limit (the one THEY provide) due to evaporation.

It means it was a faulty test. Always buy a 3 pack of tests. It saves a lot of money and frustration of not being sure.
You buy 3 so that in case you get 2 different results, the 3rd can be the tie breaker or you can save them from week to week.

No. I'd call the company and see if they can refund your money. The results will come up in a few minutes.
