Many people tell me that all Asians look alike or Asians look all the same if there were many them.

I know White people have more variation in thier eyes or hair colours but Asians don't. So is that thing that all Asians look alike true?

The thing is that I care about what other people think. I want to be like "so what?" and just don't care about it when white people told me that Asians look the same. I worry and care too much.

How do Asians look different? They have same hair and eyes colours. Not like Whites. Right?

Ok if there were 2 Asians and 2 Whites. I can say one White guy has blond hair and blue eyes and the other one has red hair and green eyes. What about the 2 Asians? They look same then.

So just tell me about this. How are Asians different? Whites have different eyes and hair colour. So many colours and it's ovbiously different. How about Asians? What can I tell them when White people said "Asians have all dark hair and dark eyes so they look the same"?

I can't say that Whites look the same because they obviously have different colour of eyes and hairs. Who could say that?

You miss the significance of that phrase.

It doesn't refer to any actual physical characteristics, it refers to any group that people do not consider significant to get to know then individually.

Mind you this is not a purely White thing, though the most famous examples come from them. Many races have said the same thing about White people.

A statement like that has only one cause, racism, and if there is one thing I don't do, is let what Racists say get to me. They all look alike anyway.

:C)

That is just an ignorant term when people say "that Asians all look alike". I personally think that it's a dig on the Asians.

They don't and never will. Everyone look different, except for identical twins perhaps, but than again it can apply to the White man too. Just because their eyes are on a slant & brown, doesn't mean they look exactly the same. Just because they have black or dark brown straight hair doesn't mean they are the same as you can dye or perm the hair just like a white man. Asians used to be short and petite but now some have grown taller than the average white man.

Don't listen to those ignorant people. They are racist and most likely is a failure in life. We are all equal. All the Asians I know work hard and are very intelligent & kind people. If the opportunity is there, they usually will succeed in anything they do.

I hope I have helped.

As a Asian, I have no problem to differentia Asians. Citizen from China, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and etc they all look different. Probably only the white have difficulty to differentia Asians. Asians do look alike if you are talking about the eyes and hair colour. But what is the problem? What is the problem of people think Asians look alike?????

Please get your perspective and view out of your mind, not all Asians are the same. I get offended when people refer or ask me if I am Chinese. If people weren't so darn ignorant, they wouldn't ask me that question. I get annoyed by it. There is more to Asians than China, I mean do they ever think that there are Koreans, Japanese, Indonesian, Thai, Phillipino, Vietnamese, and many others out there.

You can tell by their facial features, most of the time so I still don't see how you think their the same.

Filipinos, Malaysians and Indonesians look different from other Asians. They have brown skin and their eyes are different from other Asians like the Chinese, Koreans and the Japanese.

Peace and every blessing!

All people are unique, regardless of what they look like or their ethnicity. I have some friends who are Asian, and I could definitely pick them out of a crowd of a thousand Asians.

Some people have told me that I look like other people they know, and I am white. Many white people look the same, and this can be applied to all ethnicities. But no matter what we look like, it's the inner beauty that counts, and when it comes to inner beauty, we are all unique.

In the country you live in, you are most likely in contact with a majority of white people. You are able to distinguish each feature that makes a person unique. People with different backgrounds possess different features that make each one of them unique. The more you observe the more you can learn and distinguish.

PS. I was watching this show one time, (I think it was Family Guy) and somebody went to China and remarked to every person that passed by "Hey, it's Jackie Chan!" In return a Chinese person remarked to each of the members of the white family "Hey, it's Robbin Williams!"

You are totally negating the entire Asian race by this
preposition. All races have physical characteristics
that are unique to them. Each individual, no matter
what race is a distinct human being with the same
feelings, hopes and ambitions as others. Asians look
entirely different to one another as do we. The people
who said this have a lot to learn about the variety of
cultures that populate this planet. They should spend
a year in Japan.

Why don't you go to an Asian country and immerse yourself in groups of different Asians? Once you are around enough variety, you will begin to see distinctions. I see plenty of differences.
