I recently found a1994 dime without the edge (the ridges) it's slightly smaller than a regular dime, I was wondering if anybody knows anything about it..

Sounds like someone was playing around with the dime. It could have been filed down and buffed or almost anything to make it smaller.Since our mint no longer makes coins for other countries and has not for a good number of years, the possibility of a wrong blank getting into the press is now nil. The coin was damaged outside the mint.

well some coins the mint makes mistakes but its a real collectible so dont spend it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
