I would always run home but my parents were so strict that they wouldn't let me have anything. Sometimes they did but not often. Here I am 57 years old and when my son was young everytime the ice cream man came he always got something. Oh how time changes. You sure did bring back memories.

We never had an ice cream truck, but sometimes I'd think I heard one. Then if I thought I heard one I would run inside and get money. I would be so upset when I ran outside and there was no ice cream truck.
