Are some people born without a sense of humour?

If you've ever spent more than about .0000004 seconds in this forum, you'd know the answer to that.

I mean, it's pretty bad when you have to add the "Note: for the humorously impaired, this was a JOKE" disclaimer whenever you make a wisecrack.

Well, im yet to meet a funny newborn so i would say we are all born without a sense of humour.

Nature vs Nurture - perhaps they spent their whole childhood with someone who was always cracking really bad jokes and so it's just a reflex action to be so annoyed by something humorous, or they just don't know how to have fun (like some of the ppl answering YA questions) x

Everyonehas a sense of humour, it's human nature, maybe they are sad and want you to know it.

Everyone is human and is capable of the same feelings,however not everyone expresses their humour, but everyone has it.

It's the same as crying. Some cry in the open some cry privately but we all cry....

Excellent question. Perhaps, there has been a study. I would imagine that environment has something to do with it, but babies' temperaments are there from the beginning as well. A bit of both, maybe?
