Depends on what kind of year you mean. The Earth's mean tropical year is 365.24218967 days (365 day 5 hours 48 minutes 45 seconds) (at the epoch J2000.0).
The vernal year is 365.24237404 days; that's the year that the common calendar is based on.

365.2424 days in one solar year.
To make up for these fractions of days, every year that is a multiple of 4 (2004, 2008, 2012, 2016....) is a leap year -- that is, has an extra day, placed on the calendar "February 29."
Except... the century years which are divisible by 4 (2000, 2400, 2800, 3200...) should be leap years, but are not, to compensate for the fact that it's not exactly 365.25.
So effectively, regular years have 365 days, and leap years have 366.

About 365, on Earth (on a non-leap year). Leap years have 366, they occur every 4 years ( 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008 ect). Other planets have different years, because a year is how long it takes for a planet to travel one orbit around the sun.
Hope this helps!!! : )

365.2425. A leap year every 4 years except the century years not divisible by 400, i.e.,1700, 1800, 1900 were not leap years, but 1600 and 2000 were.
