You'll need a router. Probably a wireless one depending on where the computers are. If the computers are laptops, chances are there's a built in wireless ethernet card in each that can connect to the router. One of the computers however has to physically hook up to the router (via ethernet cable) in order to set up the router properly. The router sits in between the modem and your computers. If you do go with a wireless router, make sure your computers have wireless ethernet cards (something along the line of 802.11g). If you're unsure, any computer store might be able to help you.
