WE HAD A NATIONAL TRAGEDY PEOPLE. It was a terrible thing that happened and no one who is alive is to blame for it. The only person we are fully able to point the finger at is the person who pulled the trigger.

Also, please do not try to pin this on all Asians, you sound like a bigot. When Columbine happened, did you blame all teenage boys? This is no group of people's fault and couldn't have been prevented on any level.

33 people died today in the span of four hours all because of ONE MAN, do not try to overshadow this fact with pointing fingers. The end result is, no matter who was to blame, there are 33 people who their families will never see again.

I don't think we should blame guns, republicans, asians, video games, or whatever. Blame doesn't do any good.

What needs to happen is a positive identification of the gunman, and then people close to him/local law enforcement can analyse the reason for this tragic shooting spree... maybe he was very seriously depressed and suicidal, or maybe he was schizophrenic.

There needs to be responsibility, and inquiry, and efforts taken to decrease the likelihood of such a thing occurring again. So if this happened because of poor mental health, it would be wise to increase mental health awareness.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of people here that would rather just sit behind there keyboards blaming various groups for the problems in society than discussing them like adults to try to find solutions.

Yes, we all know how to play the blame game. Can't we just say that some crackpot went nutso and went on a killing spree?

I am hearing there could be a terrorist connection hence all the privy to identity of the gunman. Who knows. I for one think it is in capable hands for now.
