80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.
I've come to two conclusions recently:
1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.
First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.
Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.
So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.
To be or not to be? "To be" is temporary and "not to be" is inevitable.....

I think that the meaning of life is to just make the best of what you have. I recently got my leg amputated and I am only 14 but when I get fitted for prosthetics and receive them I am going to try so hard to do stuff that any normal kid can do. That is my meaning of life is to just have fun and do all that you can do with it!! Have a nice life and a fabulous day!!! =D

God created us to know him, love him and be happy with him in the next life. How do we go about doing that?
When God made us, he implanted within us a burning desire for his will. Knowing his will and following it will give meaning to our life. This implies that it is our responsibility to give meaning to our life. Our task then is to find out his will for us.
God's plan for our lives is etched in our desires. To discover God's plan we need to have a personal relationship with him. But because he gave us free will, he will not tell us to be a doctor, an engineer or priest. That's up to us. That means we have to pray and reflect on it a bit. Maybe even ask other people to help us discern it. No big deal, really.
All of us have received gifts from God. Our primary gift or best gift is an indication of God's plan for us. We will find in it the handwriting of God. It will point to our life project, our assigned purpose, our God ordained mission. It will also point to our happiness.
Peace and every blessing!

"Life" or "live" is the opposite and mirror image of the word "evil" and means; L (shaped) flow. positive. You need to know the shape of the universe to understand how it is "L" shaped but in a nutshell it refers to the outwards and up movement of a young body whereas "evil" describes the inward and down motion of a body as it approaches "the end". There are 21 stages to each phase and so when you add them they equal "42" just as Douglas Adams book claims, and they really are the product of a six shape plus 6 upside down (6 and 9). Amon.

The meaning of life is up to the one who's living it. The purpose of life is to enjoy it.

Know one really
Knows what for sure right I mean everyone is diff rent right every body has different ways of life but that just may be the answer because every body is not the same and excluding people that are different and that's wrong right? but maybe we live live to correct and simplify or maybe because we live as test subjects for god or UFOs or to correct and do what we feel is right ? you need to ask yourself why you want to live and in you you will find your own meaning of life.
think about it,
