Something good? Well, nothing out of the ordinary, actually I got sick today, but I think this day was just fine. In fact, everyone should cheer up a bit. Yes, terrible things happened, and it's sad, but it's over with and there's nothing to be done about it. Life is full of hardships, and some are much worse than others, but death isn't a bad thing, nor is it something that should be frowned upon. It's really just a natural part of life and we should all be able to accept it. Really, isn't life much easier when we can just roll with the punches and take things all in stride?
Many people died, but many people die every day. It's tragic, sure, but it's not the end of the world. It's... nice that you can feel pity for all those suffering, but you should focus more on your own worries now. Pitying people never did anything good, only let the victims think being depressed is the only solution.
There's always a bit of light in every tragic situation, even when the good is hard to see, it's still there. People died, but now the option of those people living hard lives and possibly suffering or losing everything is obsolete. Those left over are upset and saddened, heart broken even, but they also have the opportunity to live on and work to make this world something better for the rest of the children that are still here. If anything, this and every other tragedy is an opportunity to open someone's eyes and help them see all they've taken for granted.
Nothing good happened today, not really, not for me, but I'm alright with that. I'm glad nothing exceptional or different happened today. Tragedies make us stronger, blessings renew our faith, and normalcy dulls our senses. If we can see through the masks of our greed and ignorance, we can all live a better, more simple, and more pleasant life. Don't focus on the bad in every situation, because wherever there is tragedy, there's always a small light; don't loose sight of it, and don't loose sight of your purposes and dreams.

I totally agree with you.
I see through your eyes in such a way its deeply emotional.
It's sick, how we have nothing to talk about, other than, "Homicide, Murder, Murder, Suicide, Iraq War, Bush, Suicide, Homicide, Stocks, Death, Drugs, Drugs, Bush, Suicide, BREAKING NEWS: THE NEXT COLUMBINE? NEXT ON FOX AT TEN, THE VIRGINA TECH MASSACRE...back to regular schedule, Death."
