My heart goes out to the families of those victims. It's such a waste of life. I hope that Virginia Tech will install metal detectors at every entrance into the college, so that way they can prevent another tragedy. We should make it harder for people to access firearms and other weapons so carnage like this doesn't happen.

I just wish these guys would get help before they act, or sorry to say, at least shoot themselves before taking a bunch of people out first. I know it sounds cold, but I think that every time i hear of something like this.

Its sad...but after reading reports it could have been prevented if they just took threats more seriously

very sad :( my family is originally from that area, and i have a good friend with family who goes to school there that they haven't heard from yet
