e) Motion is a state of a body .A body is in motion if it changes its position with respect to a reference point. A body may be at rest relative to one observer and in motion relative to another observer.
When you are travelling in a car with your father and one of your friend is standing on foot path, then relative to you, your father is at rest (his distance from you does not change) but relative to your friend your father is in motion.

Motion can only be measured relative to a frame of reference( origin)

The state of rest or of uniform motion are equivalent.
All bodies (ranging from smallest ,electron to largest i.e. galaxy) are in motion.

Motion can be uniform ( with constant velocity ) or accelerated (change in speed or change in direction or change in both)
