It's the worst music since ... maybe ever! Or is it really "music" at all?
But outside the music field, there are many worse things than anything musical. GWB, for example, has no doubt done more damage than rap.

No. There are much worse things than rap music. Like crime, for instance. I think someone actually killing and robbing people is worst than someone singing about it. All rap isn't murder kill kill, either. A lot talks about struggling and trying to make it in the midst of of poverty.
We all have the option to not listen to it and allow it in our houses.

Not quite. I think the new breed of serial killers is the worst thing since WWII, not to mention the increase in child molestation and general lack of human dignity.

in a way, its worse. though, some doubt FDR's methods for getting the USinvolved, at least there was a definite enemy. in rap we have only the nebulous "Haters" to reckon with. a group with a hazey definition at best. where does one draw the line between haters and punk-***-bitches, for instance?

"Rap" and "music" should not be used together; they are two different things. Rap can be accompanied by music, but it is not music. Just having rhythm or a beat is not music either.

No not really. I for one dont like much of it but its not bad.
it's like an out of control teenager that wants to rebel against their parents or something.
if you compare old vs. new hip hop then yeah its pretty bad but there are some positive rappers in hip hop
