Hard question that one, if it had anything to do with sex and children I'd say something for sure, most other things I can turn a blind eye to, but again it depends on the circumstances doesn't it?
Like I said not an easy question to answer.
Good luck your decision.

Telling everybody that the person is in jail is not telling on them, however letting everybody know what they did is not your responsibility. Most county governments have websites that you can check and see for yourself, -public records- if it was bad enough for them to go away for a long time than it will be on there.

Depending on what it was-like if they killed someone or molested a child I DEFINATELY would tell on them-no matter who it was. If it had to do with drugs or something, maybe I would keep my mouth shut, but if the thing they did was so bad that you can't stop thinking about it-tell someone. Good luck. If you would llike to chat more about it, e-mail me through answers because my whole family is screwed up and I know alot about this subject!!

That is an answer only you can decide. No one else can read your moral compass. The very fact that you have come to an international site to ask the question tells me that if you are concerned enough to even ask, the deed is must be seriously bad. It is your conscience.

definite, love and appreciate are 2 diverse issues. at the same time as each so often a deep and abiding appreciate for someone may bring about love, regrettably loving someone with all of your heart (like a determine) would not immediately earnings appreciate. it really is a few thing that ought to be earned, while love oftentimes has no rhyme or reason.

No, as long as I received assurances from that person that they would NEVER do it again. If, for example, he had committed a murder, and then went and committed another after I did nothing, I wouldn't be able to live with that on my conscience and would feel somewhat responsible for not stopping him when I could.

Most probably not. You said "the moral thing" but betraying a loved one is also immoral. I guess it would depend on what that "something" was.

Only if they hurt a child in any way shape or form. . . . Other then that I wouldn't say a word they would have to live with the guilt and pain that they caused. But if they hurt a child I would hurt them!

It would truly depend on what they did. If it was something that made me feel unsafe with them... probably. If not, I don't really think I would tell. Hope to never find out!
