I downloaded and installed Zone Alarm new Security updated version of their Zone Alarm. One hell of a horrible mistake. I should of stayed with the old version as it never made any errors.
My problem is different then yours. Zone Alarm firewall, refuses to remember any instructions I give. Seems not to know the meaning of "remember". Now everytimes I open an icon, or an auto download of updates is trying to install, Zone Alarm pop-up over and over asking for instructions.
I have no response from their so called support in over two weeks. I removed and even their free new version is doing the same damn thing.
Appears software companies are not what they use to be!! (Going down hill fast).

Our IT Manager logged on to the Zone Alarm technical support site the other day and it turned out to be a phishing scam. Next morning, his bank account was empty and his hard drive was wiped clean.

Low voltage output at your mains electricity supply can also cause erratic computer system performance. If you have an electric oven then you can run a simple test by roasting a joint. If it's unusually tough then you'll find excellent advice in Mrs Beeton's.

1.Stop being a tight arrse and buy a new computer, or maybe .you could swap with TM.
2.Catapult launch into outer space dear, tape it for youtube. (you'll still need a new computer to download it though)
3.Close your eyes and click the heels on your ruby red slippers.and say "theres no place like Zone"

Two days? That's not very good. When I was your age the postman would deliver a letter the very same day, and it only cost tuppence ha'penny. How much did you spend on all that kit, eh?

I think that hissy fit sound is my pet snake I still haven't found.
Or maybe it's the piss being taken out of you, or on you, or however that phrase goes.
(You know I just re read your question and what in the hell are you on about? sounds a bit like some sexual deviate looking for a fix)

I fixed the problem by completely unistalling the effing thing, formatting, re-installing Windows and switching to freeware. I was not best amused.

Have you tried changing the little cylindrical fuse inside the three-pin plug? Most people overlook that.
