OFFENSIVE? I dont find that Offensive at all, Annoying?..It depends on the day im having and how many times they mispronounced my name.

I do not. My first name is pretty easy, but my last name is very difficult to pronounce. So since I was very young I got used to people mispronouncing it, so it does not bother me at all.

I do find it annoying, but C'est la vie !!! I dont let it get me down. Saying its offensive, is way to harsh in a world of so many ethnicities its way too hard !!! I get some wrong too and hope not to offend anyone in the process

My name is pretty common, so people seldom mispronounce it. It is interesting though, to see how other people interpret your name.

I gets on my last nerve! My first name only has six letters and people are dragging it out forever and forever! When I was in kindergarten, people used to call me Ariel. I'm like, I don't even have an 'l' in my first name! Where the hell did you get that from?

Yes, because the only way to mispronounce Gabriel is to call me Gabrielle and then my entire gender changes. lol

I actually I find it amusing when people try to pronounce my last name, especially when telemarketers call my house. If they don't pronounce it right, which they never do, I just say no sorry you have the wrong number no one lives here by that name :)
