Imagine if sound went 1 mile per hour and light went 10 miles per hour?

it would suck. because it would take forever for electrical appliances to turn on. stupid toaster!!!!

life would be the same. we could call the speed of light ten miles an hour. who defined the mile? we can call the speed whatever we want, but it will continue to move as fast relative to the life around it. A day is the same length to a snail as it is to a hummingbird.

i doubt we would be able to do much, not even drive 11 miles an hour, or hear each other very well, or even possibly exist, since the light from the sun might not have even reached Earth yet

If you completely messed up the laws of physics and we would be able to go at the same speeds we do now, faster than light and sound? We'd all be dead.

I was going to say slow, but at 1 mile an hour, I would have to say very slow.

if it was always like that.........I don't think we could tell...

but if light was ten miles a hour we would freeze to death before the rays of the sun got to us........
