No sir.... Australia is not >convincing enough to win the
2007 Cricket world cup
yes we fans have doubts now "so called super strenth "
about Pontings team,as ponting says ...
"Auto pilot"....Duh..gimme a break man...
no any Ausie captain that ego maniac...
but the point is,...............
not only one player Lankans rested ....
. But also 3 most infuential players in the world cup.
what a lackluster match...
Everybody were looking forward to watch da match................
( which supposed to represent real heros in modern day cricket)
what's da point...?
i mean if Murali played Lankans could have choked Ausies.
even Russel Arnold's off spin createdausie struglle......
Ausie not good enough to survive when confronted with quality spin attack.
they were beaten by New Zealand & Lacklustre Englad most resently.
i dont know why everybody willingly surrender to Big Bad Ausies.
But "never say die" team like Srilanka can beat Oz surely.
Do Oz gonna "summon superman" to
face against Murali in finals?
Anyways Yesterday match was a utter crap.
Everybody could've seen how" dissa-pointing-ponting"....
had murali played,...let alone with Malinga &Vass..
honestly dont you agree.?

We all know that Aussies are the world champs. But There has to be at least one team to beat them. If not there is no sport.

Sri Lankans & New sealands are the most capabel teams of doing that in this season.
Sri Lankans did not play the game for a win. They know that they are already in the finals.
The real battles are yet to come in the semi finals & finals.

I think Sri Lankans will do the trick.

Bracken has broken the Sri Lankan back.Otherwise they too have to sort out some deficiencies.
The Sri lankans too did come back after the poor start.
Ponting messed with the bowling changes at the closing stage.
Murali and Vaas may make things difficult for them if they meet again.

most definitely.

Australia has been winning each match with panache, losing merely 3-4 wickets, if chasing, or piling up a big score and bundling out the opposition to a meagre total.

This is the case irrespective of the opposition's calibre. Indeed, Aussies are the favourite to win

If Australia maintain their current form and play consistently, they can win the world cup.

7 wickets with 7 overs to spare.
A comfortable if not convincing victory. They had to steady themselves on a few occasions.
They would have spotted a grey spot or two in their own game against the depleted attack.
Sri lankans have reserved something for the next stage.Let us see how far it works.
