Yes, there is a third book due out in 2008. No one knows what the name will be yet.

There will be a third one.
It will be no better than the second, according to those who have read the excerpts.
You might just want to watch Return of the Jedi and imagine dragons in it.
Anyway, it's being released either summer of 2007 or sometime in 2008, I've heard both and have no reason to believe one over the other.

Yes. There will definately be a third book to the triligy. I think it is called The Empire. That will Christopher Paolini's final edition to the amazing series. I can't wait to read it!!! (It would probably be a good idea for me to finish the second book before I start the third)

Third book will come out, yes the last one...it's green, I think...rumored to be called Empire(starts with E, 6 letters, hmm?)...should come out this year Summer, Fall, or next year(this year I hope!!!!!)
