Opening Day about Jackie Robinso if you like sports was really good or Pistol - the bio of pete maravich. I liked Wilt: Larger Than Life too, its Wilt Chamberlains biography.

Obviously it is completely subjective and without knowing you more it's tough to answer, BUT if you've never read any John Grisham novels, i would highly recommend him! Start with "A Time to Kill", one of his firsts and certainly one of his best!
If you're into Non-Fiction and have any kind of math background (really, even if you don't), you might try "Freakonomics". Its about using math, science, and statistics (stay with me here!) to explain how events occur today, why they happen, and what we could do differently. It's really neat to see how something you wouldn't think had anything to do with numbers can be compared and explained by them.

Most of the books by John Grisham are good reads. Also the ones by Dick Francis.
