Yes, money can buy friendship but the real question is what kind of friends are you buying. Usually when the money is gone so are the friends. A true friend is a person that knows all the worst things about you but loves you anyway and will stick by your side through good times and bad, with or without money.

Yes it can buy you friendship and companionship. So can sharing the same genes or household. So can working together on the same project. Friendship is bought one way or the other, currency involved or not. A transaction takes place between to people when they declare each other friends. They have something to offer each other, to trade. It could be sex, protection, ideas, communication, sympathy, empathy, money, etc. And what is traded depends on what each individual wants. It doesn't mean it will by your friendship, but it can. It's also probably not the most effective method if friends are what you want.

No it doesn't all the time...but there might be instances wherein true friendship can develop out of a selfish motive if that person goes through a change of heart, sees the light or whatever it is you call that life changing transformation (for the better). It goes both ways; the person with money should also be capable of being a true friend.

Not directly. But having money draws more peoples attention to you. Then there will be some people that will probably get to know you better after that, and realize they actually like you for who you are. There can also be problems with it, too, not knowing for sure if they really are your friend or after you for the money. Unless you socialize with other rich people.

No. Unless that person was already your good friend & then you shared your money with that person. But, you cannot buy true friendship....they will merely use you because they know they can.

I had a friend once that bought me alot of things and i thought that it was comming from his heart but down the road it almost felt like i had become ah slave to him he started saying things like all i have done for you like throwing it in my face....i shouldn't have never excepted the gifts... so the friendship has ended with heartbreak i thought he was like ah brother but i was wrong ..i learned to never except money or gifts from people that have the wrong motive about true friendship..
