Um.. invent a time machine? You can only change the future. Not the past. you can't change how women have been treated in the music industry, whatever that means. How were women treated in the music industry, anyway? Surely no worse than any other field, right? I am an Engineer, and women were outright denied an education in this field in the past.

As long as women consent to being treated as objects, our position in the music industry will remain the same. There are plenty of respectable female artists who don't put up with that s*it and who respect their art and their bodies. Oh wait, but they don't have their videos on heavy rotation on MTV. Whatever is a girl to do?

We can start by not purchasing music made by those who are degrading women. The sad thing is, that there are women purchasing the music that is so degrading.

Good question. Hopefully you will get some good suggestions!
