I was changing his tank, and he fell out, and i had a hard time getting him back in water, but he's alive, and i'm not sure if he's harmed physically or not, or if it's just a new home he's getting adjusted to. He won't eat. And on top of that, he got his fin stuck in the filter. I turned the filter off, i know they don't need one. How can i make this better for him?

The best thing to do is keep his tank dark and the room quite for a while. As long as he is breathing and staying upright in the water at this point he should make a full recovery.

Hi Pooja,
The whole episode has caused alot of stress and shock to your fish. The best thing you can right now is to leave him alone in his tank. Do not add any other fish to his tank. Do not overcrowd his tank with tank decoration. You can add a few pebbles he is familiar with to make him feel hes back home. If you can get your hands on a stress coat then a few drops of that will do good. Sings of physical injuries would be clamped fins or broken fins, pale colour. You wouldn't know if there are any internal injuries so you just have to wait n watch.
If he is reacting to activities inside and outside of his tank, swimming, then these are all good signs.
Give him some warmth by placing his tank right under a lamp light.
Avoid using antibiotics cos they just stress the fish.

Your best bet with your betta is to treat him with Melafix and Pimafix for a week. Melafix will take care of any possible bacterial infection and Melafix will do the same for fungal infections. Both meds are excellent for treating injuries.
Be sure you follow the directions and dose him daily according to the size of your tank. A 10-gallon tank takes a half-teaspoon of each. After a week, give him a 25% water change. Offer him a little bit of food several times a day and observe him.

If the aquarium is vast, 50 gallons or extra you do not desire a divider! in basic terms make useful you've plenty if places for them to disguise and for the female to get faraway from the male. you would possibly want to placed extra women contained in the tank as well. this can help plenty. you are able to not placed more beneficial than one male betta contained in the tank they are going to kill one yet another! women on the different hand can stay in basic terms effective at the same time! inspite of one male in a large aquarium. you are able to upload different fish too. do in basic terms not upload any fish with a lengthy fancy tail. The male betta will mistake it for one in each of it truly is personal form and grow to be very aggressive. I genuinely have saved adult males with Angel fish formerly and they have carried out in basic terms effective at the same time. Rainbow fish also stay happy with them. Barbs in a large number of cases do properly too.

if you can, put some sea salt in his water, also leave the room a little darker, so he can just have a little sleep and rest, check once in a while on his breathing and even put him in front of a mirror and watch his reactions, if he usually flared up and he does again then he should be fine, even if he doesn't he might still be fine just a little worried and stressed out. if you want you could even get dry banana leave and lay it on the water.
