to make me bleed and im curious what the medication would be and the side effects, i figured i'd ahve my period by now and wouldnt have to worry,. there is also no chance im pregant.

If you are just starting out on the birth control pill it is not uncommon for the period to be delayed for a bit as the body adjusts to what is going on.
I would definitely get back in touch with the dr's office to ask some more questions about medication and such so that you can get a better understanding of what is being said.

My sister was put on a medicine (Progesterin) to bring her period. The side effects were mood swings. She was very moody for a while, but as soon as her period came, she was off of the medicine. If you can deal with mood swings for a while, it would be worth it.

I was once put on Provera (progesterone) to induce menses, and I had it for a whole month! But it worked.
