My friend's laptop keeps playing window's media after she closed her it, and I would like for mine to do the same. Any ideas as to how to change my computers settings?

Right Click on your desktop> go to Properties>
Click the screensaver tab> At the bottom you will see POWER button Click it> Then Click on Advanced> Then you will see When i close the lid on my laptop. Change the setting to DO NOTHING.

Go to the power control console and turn of the "shutdown when lid is closed" option.

Look in your power options. You want to set the option to something like "DO NOTHING" when I close my lid....

that's how I do it. suitable click on the computing gadget and bypass to properties. Then bypass to the exhibit Saver tab click on the "means..." button click on the progressed tab and there is the place you could configure your doos and daas was hoping this helped ya =)
