I think the American Government needs to give tax breaks to companies that do NOT outsource work, and tax the HE** out of companies that do. This would make more economic sense for these companies to keep jobs where they belong. I would NEVER, EVER buy a US flag that was made in another country. Buy USA and protect out economic system!

It saves money. It's called capitalism.
Just because it's a flag that represents a country doesn't mean it has to be made in that country.
What makes a flag meaningful is the effort and sacrifice behind the cloth itself. It is the actions that were required to make the flag meaninful which make it what it is.
No country of origin is going to change that.
Why are you so against it you would propose legislation to prevent it? Is it affecting you that much?

i would think the American flag would be made in oh...America. but i guess not, like everything else we own its made in china, Taiwan. IM NOT BEING RACIST! but america needs jobs too, there are a lot of places in america that could make that stuff and create more jobs...but they can make everything cheaper out of the country

This reminds me of an awesome Bill Hicks quote about flag burning. I don't remember it verbatim, but I'll do my best.
Protestor: Hey! My dad died for that flag!
Bill HIcks: Really? I bought mine at K-Mart.
Protestor: He died in the Korean War for that flag.
Bill Hicks: That's funny because mine was made in Korea. What a small world...
