i would re-schedule the appointment. when I first went to get birth control, I was required to have a fully gyno exam including pap smear. I was a virgin as well. however, in the past I have gone to my gyno exam as my period is ending, and the doctors have never cared.
if you want, call and ask if it is an issue.

most docs are understanding if you say you are on your period. But you should have a pap. They will check for other things like cancers. So let them know you are on your period and you would like to schedule a pap at another time.

Yes, you still need a PAP to ensure the good condition of your naughty bits. Yes, you can get a PAP whilst on your period, although it does make things harder to see during the exam. I suggest you call the nurse and ask her opinion and make additional arrangements if necessary.

You don't need a pap if you have not been sexually active or, you are not 21. They also will not do a pap when you are on your period.

They will probably recommend you reschedule the pap. They can't get a clean cell sample if there is too much blood.

Wait until your period is finished , but you dont need a pap test until you are sexually active and then you should have one every year.

Yes and not necessarily. Call your doctor's office about the period part and ask. They may want you to reschedule.
